CRYPTID SPOTTED!

Well howdy-do! I go by a few different names depending on the circumstances, but most folks call me Tux, Theo, or Wilde; please use they/them or it/its pronouns to refer to me! It's nice to meet you!

What am I?

I’m queer, a furry, and therian, and typically describe myself as a critter, creature, and cryptid - “human” is as fleeting of an identity as any other form I might take outside of my base one as a shapeshifter. My gender can be loosely described as nonbinary, agender, or even “creaturegender” or some other form of related xenogender; gender’s weird and funky!

What do I do?

I'm an artist! I draw lots of animals, furries, and other critters, and I make comics - my big project at the moment is Meet Me in the Woods, a long-form webcomic about shapeshifting aliens and supernatural mysteries...go give it a read, I work hard on it~

My fursona, TUX!

You’ve almost definitely seen Tux around if you’re here…they’re my main fursona and face around the internet, as well as the namesake of my online handle!

The line between “separate character” and “literally me” is blurry sometimes, but generally speaking, Tux is me and I am Tux! They’re the truest reflection of my queer, nonhuman identity, and an outlet for expressing those feelings and desires.

Tux, Tuxedo, or Theo | They/It | Amphimorpho | Queer, Asexual

Formerly human, now a strange, shapeshifting alien after coming into contact with a mysterious virus…though sometimes they question if the former was ever really true. Being a creature’s just felt so much more like being themself than trying to fit in as a human ever did!

On the surface, Tux comes off as an eccentric, but otherwise average human. They’ve studied to become a biologist, but also have an immense interest in music, performing arts, and fashion in its many styles and forms! Around most folks, they’re generally cheerful, if not a little bit shy and awkward. They’re often seen in fanciful button-up shirts and cozy sweaters, with the signature bowtie alluding to their nickname.

Behind the curtain, they’re a creature with a much more exuberant and zany personality! Some would describe them as lively, charming or even a bit dramatic when they’re feeling truly comfortable in their own skin - the mask is off, and the real show has finally begun!
